I manage a forested acreage in northern Wisconsin throughout the spring and summer, when I do a lot of wood and brush cutting and land care (spring is peak tick season, as we say—lots of wood and deer ticks). This is NOT a handheld spray, to be clear in response to the remarks made by other reviewers. Use of a battery-powered dispenser is REQUIRED. Using a Glade air freshener dispenser that can be found in any market, it operates flawlessly. We have a lot of flies sitting on and around our sliding glass patio door every spring (and fall) because we live next to a dairy.
