I would definitely advise an excellent pair of socks if you really want "thickness" and "warmth." Pay a little extra for the seamless toe and extra padding. Seriously. You only have one set of feet, so you want to be able to hike to safety if things go to hell in a handbasket. That being said, if you only want to kill whiteflies, fungi, and other pests that seem determined to DO IN MY FIRST HYDROPONICS BUILD, then this is exactly what you need and have no care for "thickness" and "warmth" does tremendous damage to anything, including flying insects. I was able to save my tomatoes, which are currently costing me $148.77 in setup and supplies per.
These also work on other types of bugs. I first put some on my rose bush, and I can see that it has captured a lot of insects. To have more to put on the plant, I cut each one into three pieces (do this before pulling them apart). I lay them on the branches and press them onto the thorn to keep them attached to the bush and prevent them from falling off. I started placing them around the garbage can, near the sink, above the cat litter boxes, and other locations because I have two cats and they bring a variety of pests inside with them from their waste and food. I've also managed to catch gnats, flies, and other unknown bugs with them. Once more, I cut them into three pieces, then divide those in half to obtain a maximum of six pieces from each trap. You can make a lot of use of the fifteen pieces they provide you. Based on the bugs found on the sticky traps, my results are excellent. Some reviews mentioned the sticky residues, saying that while they are difficult to remove, the trade-off is unquestionably worthwhile given all the bugs they discovered. Strongly advised
Gnats and fruit flies are those pesky insects that like to stay around your face and are always quicker than your swat at making their getaway. If you're an enthusiastic indoor gardener with lots of sunlight and you produce herbs and flowering plants, you'll get them regardless. And don't worry about where they came from; just be aware that if left unchecked, they will spread at an alarming rate. I've experimented with a variety of opponents; the most effective one was a tiny cup of red wine mixed with sugar that was pressed into the soil within the pot. I'm not much of a wine connoisseur, so I feel like they were a little careless with my excellent stuff because the wine would grow bad things and needed to be replaced rather regularly. After that, I discovered this fantastic product and used it as advised at first, but while playing with my plants, the double-sided full size was making my hands somewhat sticky. I recently pulled up a fresh one (of which there are many) and simply chopped it up. You could use disposable if you don't want to get too sticky yourself.
